Hope For Hassan

Hassan

According to the World Food Programme, malnutrition rates in Sierra Leone are among the highest in the world. Over 45% percent of child deaths in Sierra Leone are attributed to malnutrition. It is the leading cause of child mortality in the country, and 267 out of every 1,000 children die before their fifth birthday. We recently met Hassan, a 4-year-old orphan who was extremely malnourished and diagnosed with HIV. We are currently raising money to provide Hassan with much needed medical care. It is our hope that we are able to meet his basic needs and put him on a healing path.
